Also known as Sand People or Tusken Raiders in French, the Tusken Raiders are a nomadic people roaming the Tatooine desert, blending into the landscape to remain invisible. Very hostile to outsiders, they are dressed in large coats, they cover themselves entirely to survive in their harsh environment. Their head is entirely covered in bandages, and it is equipped with a moisture trap and a breathing filter. They are armed with a Gaderffi Staff equipped with a poisoned blade. Their first appearance in the Star Wars universe dates from the first film, "A New Hope".
